Database DevOps engineer (MSSQL)

minus5 is looking for an experienced MSSQL DevOps engineer with focus on database migrations, optimisation and performance tuning. You will work closely with our head architect.

The leading Croatian betting company SuperSport is our client with whom we are working very closely. Due to the nature of our long-term collaboration, we are committed to creating the highest-quality solutions for our customers.

You will be:

• tuning SQL and T-SQL
• cleaning up and optimising legacy procedures and objects
• ensuring high availability of our systems by inspecting code migrated to production
• organising database documentation

You should have:

• 4+ years of similar work experience
• excellent command of MS SQL Server, SSMS, SMO and related tools
• excellent knowledge of SQL and T-SQL
• knowledge of indexing and partitioning
• experience with migration to cloud based DBs (Amazon RDS or similar)
• knowledge of Powershell
• knowledge of UNIX/Linux and shell scripting
• ability to work independently and do reverse engineering as required
